These days it may seem that the only crafting that I do is with leather for archery equipment. However, I have been crafting almost all my life in one way or another. Inspired and taught by my mother, I have had my time crafting in many different forms. I have crafted with just about everything from Popsicle sticks to plastic canvas and leather tooling to wood carving.
On September 29, 2012 I taught a class at at Tandy Leather on Las Vegas on the Basics of Making a Dream Catcher. It was an opportunity to share with others a piece of what my mother taught me all those years ago. For me it was more than just that. It was a reminder of the time my mother spent with me rather than sitting me in front of the television. Who would have thought then that the time she spent with me then would result in Rasher Quivers.
I enjoyed teaching this class so much that I have agreed to continue teaching classes on a monthly basis. I will also be sharing these classes here on this blog. A small attempt to share with others all those lessons that my mother shared with me. If you live in the Las Vegas area you can contact Tandy Leather for more information on these classes.
